All power within the Government of the Peoples Republic of China is divided among several bodies that come together to form the Chinese government. The government insures that your stay in china will be a safe and exciting experience. China is known for there extremely high population and their original language is standard mandarin. Other things to consider in China is the great weather which averages at around 26 through mid July, one of the bests times to travel to China. The scenery in China is also the place for some of the greatest scenery whether it be man made like the great wall, Ancient Temples or natural like the the Rainbow mountains in Zhangye's Danxia.

Reference:http://www.chinahighlights.com/travelguide/article-five-top-reason-visit-china.htm
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/in_depth/china_politics/government/html/1.stm

In order to travel to China you must have a valid passport and travel visa, but most importantly you must acquire a letter of permission that verifies your business in china which in this case will be tourism and vacation. After you have all of your papers you must think about all of you immunizations and medication. Another thing you may or may not think about before travelling is the health/safety risks. A great website to find the health/safety risks is http://www.ilo.org/safework/countries/asia/china/lang--en/index.htm. Of course the last piece of knowledge you must know is the time zone differences. China is 12 hours ahead of Toronto so the trip has been planned accordingly.

The Golden Flower Hotel in Xian is the first hotel you will be staying in on your trip to China. After staying for two nights the next hotel will be the Fengyan Jianguo in Pingyao. After Pingyao you will stay in the Red Gulf Hotel in taiyuan. The hotels chosen are all great places in great locations but while you are in China you must know the hottest spots to eat. China has many of great Restaurants and cafes but some of the most convenient for the trip might be Defachang in Xian, Hengshengfu in Pingyao or Tangdapang in Taiyuan.

Current Travel issue

The biggest current travel issue would have to be terrorism. In China this is not a very big problem but it is definitely there, Whether it be petty crimes or major incidents. An article that talks about this problem very well is http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-30373877. It goes on to talk about the religious barriers that groups of terrorists are fighting the Chinese government for. The article also explains that in China the terrorism is not aimed around locals or tourists its mainly aimed at the Government but stories have been told of a lot of innocents being caught up in the fighting. My personal opinion on this growing problem is that although tourism has had a slight decline due to this issue, it will not be effecting you on this trip and that China is still a very safe kind country.
