In this play, we have Inês a lazy girl who want to be free of her mother through marriage. She had two marriages, the first one recommended by Leanor Vaz and the second one by Jewish. She was disappointed in the first marriage and took revenge in the second.

1. The first difference between the past and the present is the use of social media both to find the match and to talk to friends.
The similarities are they still go to church, she helps her mother, she can´t go out and Agnes continues thinking that marriage was the only way to have freedom.

2. We think that this viewpoint is correct as we feel that our relationship with our parents is difficult because of the Generation Gap and the different education between them and us.

1- We agree with Agnes because he had all the qualities that one woman wants.

2- In our opinion, the perfect boyfriend needs to have a good body, be rich, respectful, honest, loyal and handsome.

3- The title of chapter 4: "Moving into a living hell" means that she had a stable life until she met Brás da Mata and was charmed by his skills, which he later revealed himself to be a cruel demon from hell.

In our opinion, Brás da Mata is the perfect boyfriend because he's rich, noble, a good singer, a good dancer and handsome. We can consider him a good match!
2.
We consider that the perfect husband/boyfriend should be rich, loyal, funny and if he were handsome, it would be even better.
3.
The chapter 4 has this title ("Moving into a living hell") because she's literally moving to "hell", she moves with Brás da Mata, who is violent and prives every liberty that Inês Pereira had.

We agree that the husband has to be kind, generous, humble and that love is the most important but we also think that he has to have money and at least make us desire him.

We completly agree with this statement because we can make a mistake unintentionally but if we commit two or three times the same error it's stupid. For example, in the " A Farsa de Inês Pereira ", Inês was smart because she hasn't comitted the same error three times.

1- We disagree with the thought of the week, because in our opinion she rejects all the characteristics that we idealize in the perfect man, and also because not all men are bad.

2- In our view, everyone is entitled to make a mistake once in the same way that everyone is entitled to a second chance, and Agnes deserves to make two mistakes too. But at the third time she would be a fool.

The metaphors of the donkey and the horse are that Brás da Mata is compared to a horse because he appeared to be a honest, humble and good man but in reality he was the opposite, a cruel, manipulative and violent man. Pêro Marques is compared to a donkey because he was naive, humble and a fool. That's why the autor quote that "it's better to ride a poor donkey than to have a gallant horse".
2.
The moral of the story is that the appearences can be deceiving, like the saying "never judge a book by its cover".

1- The horse represents Brás da Mata, a man who is ambitious and dishonest, who mistreats Agnes and makes her turn to Pêro Marques.
The donkey represents Pêro Marques a man who is humble, good and honest, that is used by Agnes to fulfill all her wishes.

2- The moral of the story is not to deceive ourselves with appearances, besides having to value beauty.

In my opinion, "A Modern Adaptation of «A Farsa de Inês Pereira»" is very interesting and funny. My favourite part is when she is free to live her life far away from Brás da Mata. My favourite character is Pêro Marques because he is so dumb that it makes him funny and a very captivating character. The role I absolutely hate is Brás da Mata for many reasons like: he pretends to be kind, rich and an incredible husband but later we find out that he is the absolute opposite, mean, poor, and violent.

I think it's a very funny story, because it's through laughter that the message is transmitted. I really enjoyed it.

In the "Modern Adaptation of A Farsa de Inês Pereira", my favourite part is chapter 6, that is when Agnes achieves her freedom, and starts a blog and shares her ideal lifestyle. The character that I liked the most is Agnes´s mother because she was a very kind, fair person and always tried to protect her daughter. The caracharacter that I hate is Brás da Mata because he is cruel, arrogant and liar as well as everything he did to Agnes.

In my opinion, I found the Modern Adaptation of "A Farsa de Inês Pereira" interesting, as it shows current issues. My favorite part coincides with the initial part, when her friend made a video to call her, inviting her out and she refuses since she has to help her mother, I liked this part because it shows a little what inversely happens to us, since at her age we have more freedom and become more independent. My favorite character is Pero Marques, since he shows the humility and joy that characterizes the poor class. The character I liked least was Agnes because she was very indecisive in all situations and was bipolar.

Chapter 5-The winds of change

This was the best part for me because after what she went through, she decided to help people with the thought of the week ,warning that not everything is what it seems and explained this to people with the situations she went through.

My favourite character is Agne's brother, because he was the person who delivered the good news to his sister.

And the least was Brás because he was a bad person to Agne and he was a coward.

in my opinion, reading "a Modern Adaptation of A Farda de Inês Pereira" was an amazing experience, I truly believe that this story is really interesting, funny and teach us a lot of useful advices. I love almost every character but there is one that I really hate, this character is Brás da Mata, he´s so annoying and bad person,as heis manipulator and rude.
