         <title>Transport Vehicle</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In order to talk about transit I must first touch on the vehicle in which the transit will take place. The vehicle that will transport the astronauts, supplies, drone/rovers, etc. is "Volante Pullum" or The Flying Chicken (VP for short). VP is a spacestation similair to that of the I.S.S but in more of a cilidrical shape, but still seperated into different labs, habs, and such things. VP will be very large and have storage pieces connected to it to allow for optimum transprot of materials. Each piece of VP will be detachable and replacable in case of damage or sending the piece down to mars or earth.&nbsp;Each storage "container" is equipped to be sent down to the mars surface by itself so we dont have to continue sending ships up and down to transport supplies. This lighter load will also allow for the VP to return from mars with less fuel as well as have more slots to fill when it restocks back at earth.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Transit</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Once the VP is constructed it will orbit around earth until optimal launch angle, time, and plnetary alignment have been reached. Once done the VP will take itself out of Earth's orbit and begin its transit to Mars. As the VP flys through space, it will use the alignment thrusters to maintain control of its course. The VP will remain in an almost constant contact with the ground team located in "The Coop". As the VP transits it will also be kept in a constant state of rotation which is ment to simulate a lesser form of gravity thus allowing the astronaunst to not be constatly exposed to zero gravity. Due to the simulated gravity not being the same as earth, excersise regiments will be put in place on top of the daily duties of the astronauts in order for them to maintain form as the transit across deep space. Once at the end of the journey the VP will correct its velocity and enter orbit with mars thus starting the landing and habitat  section of our mission.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Habitat Construction</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Once "Volante Pullum" (VP) is in orbit the different robots, rovers, and other such construction tech will be sent down to the surface of mars. The machines will then begin gathering resources, continue printing, and piecing he habs together. The material that will be used for printing is basalt fiber extracted from martian rock and renewable bioplastic which will come from the VP as well as the gardens on the VP and in the Habs later on. Once the majority of the construction is complete and only if there are some construction issues that can only be handled by a human the astronauts will be sent down to handle the rest. While they are down on mars, if the habs are not complete then they will stay in the "feather" until hab is complete. once hab is complete the next step of our mission can take place. These habs will either be heavely based on the MARSHA project or exactly like the MARSHA project.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Transport construction</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As explained in the Launch section there will be several rocket launches that will lead to the construction of "Volante Pullum" (VP for short). VP will be constructed very similarly to the I.S.S in that it will be largely part based and have detachable and replaceable parts. As the pieces are brought into space they will be attached to one another  until the main ship is completed. Then once "The Feather" has launched it will connect to VP much like another piece would and the astronaunts will enter VP.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Habitats/Marsha</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The habitats that will be on mars will be made of several parts which can be peiced together, while most of the materials will be 3d printed via brought material or harvested from mars surface, some larger pieces will be brought on the main space ship and sent down to mars. "Martian conditions require a structure optimized to handle internal atmospheric pressure and thermal stresses". The tall structure also allows for a vantage point when observing the landscape as well as the oncoming weather. The housing will use dual shell technology to help seperate the habitation part of the hab from the structural part of the hab, this is to make sure that the outershell will be stressed upon rather than the actual habitat itself.<br>These habitats will contain several levels as well as several rooms per level. There will be Labs, Prep, Engineering, Garden, Kitchen, Recreation, excercise, sanitation, and sleeping rooms each spread out throughout the 4 floors.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Robots, Printers, and Rovers Oh My!</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One of the biggest parts of our mission will rely on the many robots that will be sent before hand in order to scout out landing sites, begin foundation construction, scout surrounding areas, etc. These robots will have to specially equipped with beacons for displaying different location as well as excavation tools for setting up locations. This could be done with multiple robots each fit for its singular task, or it could be done with one big all in one robot. Once the robots finish there jobs  they will go into a stasis like state and await further orders, whil focusing on lasting until further orders are required.</div>]]></description>

         <title>3D Printing in Space</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On earth much of 3D printing is reliant of gravity to keep the plastics from moving off the platform, but in space gravity is not gonna help. As of present time NASA has managed to get a 3D printer that works in space. This printer combined with the large housing type printers of  earth will create a space printer large enough to create those habitats. Smaller scale versions of these 3D printers may also be added to robots in order for them to construct pieces on their own.</div>]]></description>
