Many of the same holidays celebrated in the United States are also celebrated in Cuba including Christmas, Labour day, Independance day, and New Year's Eve. A few other holidays being more specific for Cuba Include National Rebelion Day,
Day after the Commemoration of the Assault of the Moncada garrison, Good Friday, and Victory day. These Holidays are special for Cuba for several reasons including the marks of germanys surrender to the soviet union in 1945 ending the bloodiest wars in russian history(Victory Day). They also represent the crussification of jesus and his death at Calvary (Good Friday). https://www.travelnews.ch/english-corner/27998-holidaying-in-cuba-actually-has-some-advantages-at-the-moment.html

https://www.theguardian.com/travel/cuba
