Blooket!

The Vital Tool: Blooket (I will link at the bottom!)
This tool gives your students a chance to learn different. There are steps to it, you can create questions, you can select a game mode! Games are more engaging and it makes it so students can do it at school, or on their devices. Teachers can host the games, thus students are playing and reviewing. Using what they answered can give you a feel on how well students understand the lesson.
Strengths:
- Students will be able to play and review
- Students will be able to use their devices
- Students will be able to compete and learn together
Weaknesses:
- Not All Students have devices
- If there is not zoom there is not interaction so the competing is less fun for students

I highly recommend if there is an online day where you would like to review! I do think teachers should explore before taking it to students, website can be tricky for teachers who lack in the technical department.

https://www.blooket.com/

PowToon

The tool that I have decided to choose is a well known one! Powtoon! This is a way for students to get creative with projects that the teachers give them. Teachers will be able to measure the students' understanding well based on what the students will release. This tool let’s students and teachers create videos. The tool is easy to use. I remember using it in middle and high school, that means it is easy for students to navigate.

Strengths:

Easier to measure

Teachers can have students work on group projects together; measure progress

Weaknesses:

Some students are that creative

A lot of work so some students will not want to work on it

If I were to recommend something for a project I feel that this tool will only work for middle school. I think high schoolers would get bored of the assignment and would not put forth the effort.

https://www.powtoon.com/edu-home/.

The Vital Tool: TedEd (I will link at the bottom!)
This tool gives teachers an international platform for them create their own interactive lessons. This helps students around the globe to TED to their schools.
Strengths:
- There is a connects students and teachers
Weaknesses:
- Can be confusing if you do not play around with the website beforehand (gave me a hard time)
- Have to have a video in mind

I honestly do not recommend going to this unless you have a video in mind. I would look it up on YouTube and then play around with the website.

https://ed.ted.com/
