         <description><![CDATA[<p>Red Rocks Community College</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor Degree of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography: RRCC offers a BAS in Medical Sonography.</p></li><li><p>Required for admission: an associates degrees of 60+ full semester credits, clinical internship/externship on transcript, and the passing of national certification/registry exam. The first to semesters of this program are completed at RRCC and the following 3 semesters are spent at assigned clinical sites with asynchronous remote studies.</p></li><li><p>Prerequisites required with associates degree: Introduction to sonography, multiplanar sectional imaging, medical terminology, college algebra, anatomy &amp; physiology I &amp; II, English 100, and communications 100.</p></li><li><p>Also required is a background check and drug screen.</p></li></ul>]]></description>
