This film was the first to use CGI to make the character look younger within the opening scene. This was achieved by using a picture from the actor’s childhood putting them into the software “Lola” which digitally generated their face and bodies, therefore creating a de-aging effect. </div>]]></description>

The directors of this film wanted to create a scene where the main character, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is fighting his younger self. They couldn’t use scenes from the previous film as they didn’t have rights to the movie, therefore they hired a body double and placed a scan of Schwarzenegger’s face on top of the double.</div>]]></description>
