What strategies, initiatives is the CoL looking into in regards to the Bicultural aspect of the CoL? It was identified in the presentation yesterday that "Maaori" students across all schools were part of that target group of 'priority' learners. Will the initiatives or strategies that are decided be researched based? And how will CoL leaders, teachers and staff who have not been exposed to cultural responsive pedagogy be able to differentiate these initiatives between what is meaningful and student-focused, as apposed to the 'tick the box' method which so often happens.
