My parents were always my light and love. The first time I saw them, I saw them as idols, the people who cared for me, the people who sacrificed for my well-being. They were the ones who really raised me to who I am today, and I'll be forever thankful for what they have done. My parents make sure that nothing harmed me as a baby, taking me to check ups regularly and gave me the neseccary love and care.

I remember the time I first wanted to dress on my own, choose my own things, and have the desire to do what my mind wants. I could walk, talk, and loved to explore as a kid and as odd as it may sound, I was a very active kid when I was young, compared to the more reserved and quiet Denjo now.

This was the time I grew up to be smart, adaptive and understood how things work little by little. I was one of the top achievers of my batch, even skipping up a grade in the process. This is when I had the urge to keep achieving, wanting to always have the top spot, the competetive Denjo that always wanted to be ackowledged.

From grades 1-6, I studied at Ateneo de Davao University, still one of the achievers, always got honors, well known amongst the teachers but compared to the past, I'm more disciplined and brave, facing challenges and making sure to overcome them in my own way, even if others disagree or don't help me.

I've grown, not just my age but also my mind, body, and self. I'm more humble, self-aware, and more focused and disciplined than ever, but everyone has been by my side, supporting me all the way despite the challenges I face; they always helped, and I'm forever grateful. I plan to keep going, keep imrpoving who I am and find the best Denjo.

Personal Development has helped me improve and understand myself better by providing lessons on what I'm feeling and experiencing. The key takeaways I got from this subject are that life will always give us challenges, and it's up to us whether we deal with them in a healthy or unhealthy way. The two favorite lessons were Mental health and Family as with this, I understood my own mental state and actions while also learning the effects of family and how they influence my growth.
