One author was teaching about  prehistoric poop, and the other author was teaching about poop in the 21st century. I like how the first author talked about paleoscatology. That just show how many different types of scientist there are. That also means that there is a science for everybody.  I did not know that there was such thing as fossilized vomit (I personally think that vomit is much more disgusting than poop). Would fossilized vomit look like human vomit or would it look different. Then when scientists found T. rex poop they found broken pieces of bone  and eventually they found out that the T. rex did chew its food and that they had teeth not just for hunting but also for CHEWING!

In the first article, it is telling us that dino scat can vary in looks, and it mostly tells us what the animal ate. In the second article, it is telling us that panda scat could be turned into a source of energy. I believe that using the stuff from panda poop with help our food supply. It is very interesting that the bactria in panda poop can help solve problems in the world of energy. Like it said in the article they have been cautious to take some of our food supply, to create energy. It is so cool that paleoscatoligists can find so much, from fossilized poop or vomit. Something really cool that they found out about dinosaurs is that tyrannosaurus- rex's actually didn't chew, as they just swallowed there food whole.Also, the caption on page 5 states "Paleontologists Peter Doyle and Jason Wood, uncovered the World's Largest Vomit in Peterborough, England". this vomit was known to have come from an ancient sea creature. a "Ichthyosaur". It's absolutely insane to think creatures like these once roamed our planet earth. I have just now looked up an Ichthyosaur, and down below is what scientists would have thought it would looked like, similar to a dolphin. 
Now, let's talk about the Pandas! I find it quite interesting how using the pandas scat, it can become an energy source. The way this works the bacteria in the poop will help break down plants. Which can actually becomes biofuels, which can become an energy source Paleontologists are discovering more and more every day.These discoveries will do wonders for our world, and possibly help save the Pandas!

It is also cool that they eat mouthfuls and later chew it up and that it can eat without worrying about the bones. In “Panda poop” it is fascinating that it’s poop can make renewable energy. It is awesome that it can eat 20 - 40 pounds of bamboo and it can eat throughout the hours not get tired or do something else. I can’t wait for Elephant - poop coffee.
