Maybe they can add QR codes in their town, somewhere, with tasks for tourists. So the town becames one big escape room. Tourists must solve those tasks. I had a similar activity in Raygrod in Poland, on an Erasmus mobility. For example, one task was: Talk to two locals and learn words from them how to say thank you, hellow and goodbye in polish language. The other was: make a selfie in front of the church... Etc.
