For example, his picture 'Sunset over the rocky coast of Combe Martin in Exmoor, Devon' uses; texture, light and composition.

Furthermore, in his 'Misty Kilchurn Castle and reflections on Loch Awe, Scotland' photograph he uses mirror and reflections, rule of thirds. The use of mirror and reflections in this image gives it more detail and as of this it makes the image stand out and catch your eye.

His work has inspired me to base my FMP on landscape photography as he used many techniques in his photographs.

I looked at his gallery and found some amazing images of landscape. Also on some of his images he uses black and white. 

His style is unique, his photographs displays serenity and calmness.

I want to use this style in my photographs by going to peaceful locations such as countrysides when taking my pictures. To begin with, I looked on the internet for famous landscape photographers and came across David Taylor. I looked at his Black & White photographs for inspiration as I wanted to do the Black & White effect on my photographs to compare the two between colour and black and white.
