Water demand keeps rising and becoming more prominent. Because of this, aquifers are being depleted, and the aging infrastructure continues to destroy systems worldwide. In India specifically, many rural farmers are struggling due to the rising economic difficulty, global change in demands and standards, and the general lack of support to villages by the government, a big part of which is water. The Indian government uses most of that water for the big cities instead of the rural farms.
