I have found Home Learning to be challenging - balancing between assisting boys online, creating new activities and providing feedback to work. It is not as exciting at home without all you boys and teachers. 
2. I have overcome lots of challenges on CANVAS. I have learnt several new skills from  uploading videos to creating Padlets! The other teachers have been really helpful. 
3. One positive thing I have found about Home Learning is that I am able to bake on my breaks throughout the day. I've already made brownies, coffee cake and banana bread!

I have found Home Learning very different and a little challenging! I miss speaking with all of you boys and the other teachers throughout the day. 2. Most of the challenges I have overcome so far have involved technology! I have been able to problem solve when using Canvas and Teams. I have mostly used the strategies of: looking things up, using trial and error or asking one of the other teachers for help.

At times, I have been super excited and at other times I have felt a little overwhelmed! I have learnt SO much in the last few weeks and am having lots of fun trying new things and working it all out.
I have had to work out completely different strategies for managing my job at school and my three children who, like all of you, are learning at home. We make mistakes every day but each day we also do something a little better than the day before. We are growing!
I feel very grateful for the amazing teachers I work with and for the open-minded attitude, grace and patience everyone has shown towards each other as we all get on board this new experience.

It is the strangest feeling ever, to walk into a classroom and not see any students or chat to any of the Year 4 team in person. It makes me feel lonely.
Resilience is something I have had to demonstrate during this transition to Distance Learning. There has been a lot of new skills I have had to learn and apply to new situations. I am lucky the Year 4 team have been so helpful. If I get stuck on something, I know one of the team will be able to show me how to solve it. 
Support from the Cranbrook community has been wonderful. Words of encouragement and feedback have helped make our Distance Learning with the Year 4 boys a positive learning experience.

3.I am lucky that I have a basketball hoop in my backyard so i can play basketball every break. I have lots of choices of what I eat and when I want to eat. If I work hard and get through my work quickly then I finish early.

Some of the stuff I can do at home but not at school are going for swims in the pool at our farm which is where we are. Another good thing about being at my farm is we can go for long walks in the paddocks and going for swims in the pool. Finally 7 mile beach is not closed and it is a 7 mile long beach so you are never near anyone.
Some of the down sides of being at my farm is I can't see any of my friends unless I face time them. Another thing that I can't do at my farm is see my teachers which is a bit annoying when I need to ask them a question about Math's or English.

I have been finding home learning quite fun because it is different and you can have the company of your family around you. 2. I mostly knew what to do with the tech but I sometimes wish I had my friends around me. Although sometimes being alone helps me concentrate on my work.
3. One positive aspect is that on the weekend I got a new puppy so I can play with her every time I get bored!!! Also if I finish early I may be able to Survivor.
4. I liked doing the Microsoft Teams meeting this morning so we should do that often. Working at home also gives everybody a chance on working independently. Canvas is also really helpful because in year 3 we just got to use it for UOI and some other subjects but now all the links and online things really work. But at the same time you can't be with your friends all the time. The work that I've been given I probably finish in 4 to 5 hours if that's not hard enough I might even do the extension task also I don't do the brain breaks because they take up a bit of my time so I leave them to the end of the day. Now the new Microsoft Teams has been introduced I'm quite excited seeing my class. Also online activities help bring people together is another thing. My favorite activity is probably UOI learning about the earth's surface. My favorite brain break is the cosmic kids yoga and the learn how to draw video's. 1. I’ve found home learning a little bit tricky because I have lots of questions that I need help with and not having my teachers there to help me is hard.

2.  To overcome this difficulty, I reread the questions without distractions and focussed and that really helped me understand the questions. 

3.  One positive aspect is probably that I don’t get distracted, and spending extra with my dog and family.

1. In my opinion home learning has had some ups and downs. The good thing is that I can have breaks whenever I want. The only downside is that I don't get to see all of my friends!  

2.  The challenge that I had to overcome was how to upload a image but I overcame that and now I'm really good at it 😃 

3. It's fun because I don't have to wait for everybody to finish if I finish early. Also there's no homework!!
Anyway I think home learning is OK and I'm missing all of you.
