I’m a big fan of the arts—I love making art, playing music, and reading books. I have my Associate’s Degree in Psychology and am currently continuing my studies at the University of Arizona to finish my Bachelor’s in Psychology.

This is my second year of teaching, but I’ve been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for 6 years. I’m so excited to be part of the school community and can’t wait for a wonderful year ahead with my students!

This has been one of the most rewarding jobs of my life. I love my students and enjoy seeing them learn and grow every day.

My favorite part about working at Summa Academy is the many opportunities to build connections with all Summa students across campuses (trunk-or-treat, winter party, etc.). Outside of school, I enjoy spending time in the sunshine with my dog, Annie.

Professionally, I have dedicated the last 16 years to teaching special education. I truly love working with students of all abilities, as each child brings unique strengths and perspectives to the classroom. My role goes beyond just teaching; I strive to support and empower their families as well, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to thrive.

I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of my students and their families, and I cherish every moment spent with my own children. Life is a journey, and I am thrilled to be on this path!

I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and have been working with kids for about 5 years. I really look forward to seeing the growth of our students in all aspects of life and I am committed to helping them reach their full potential!

I’ve always had a passion for working with kids and hope to create an environment that is fun, warm, and welcoming for everyone.

A few fun facts about me: I have met former Golden State Warrior Klay Thompson, I enjoy camping, I am bilingual in Spanish, and my favorite color is teal!

My favorite subject to teach is reading, and my teaching philosophy is that all students can learn! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family & dog, doing crafts like crochet, traveling and going to music festivals. 

I have been working in various roles with kids and adults with disabilities for over 15 years. I happily landed in OT and am proud to support all my client's engagement in the meaningful and important occupations of life!

I am honored to be a part of this amazing Summa team. As an OT my passions include sensory exploration, identifying and practicing coping skills, and of course supporting motor skills of all kinds! Personally, my most meaningful occupations are yoga, spending time at the beach, craft projects, and providing love and attention to any dog in the vicinity. I am excited to be a reference and support for the whole Summa team: students, families, and educators alike!

My favorite thing here at Summa is getting to share every step of the journey alongside the students. I really value our principle of “Students First“ as I always aim to ensure each student is getting the best support in all areas and aspects of their learning.

As I step into this new chapter, I am also embarking on the journey of pursuing my teaching credential, and I am truly excited to grow both personally and professionally within this role. Education has always been a passion of mine, and I am committed to helping every child feel supported, motivated, and successful in the classroom. I look forward to creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. 

I’ve been working in the ABA field since 2017 and truly love what I do. Watching the kids learn, grow, and reach new milestones every day is incredibly rewarding, and I’m grateful to be part of their journey. Fun fact: When I’m not working, I love spending time with my friends and family!

I have over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of roles, and I discovered my passion for this field because of how meaningful and rewarding the work is. I truly enjoy supporting students as they learn and grow. Outside of the classroom, I love traveling, watching movies, taking pictures, and exploring new crafts.

Over the past three years, I’ve worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supporting children with mild, moderate, and severe needs. I’ve had the opportunity to work with children of all ages, but I especially enjoy working with elementary-aged students. I love building relationships with my students and celebrating their unique progress along the way.

I’m passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment where every student feels encouraged and understood. I’m also hoping to continue growing in this field and pursue a career as a special education teacher in the future.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my two dogs, hiking, and cooking, or anything that helps me recharge and stay active!

I’ve always been passionate about supporting the next generation—whether that’s through academics or helping students grow into their own version of success. In high school, I had a teacher who always saw the potential in every student, no matter what. That really stuck with me. It showed me that success isn’t just about being academically strong—it’s about having an educator who can guide and support you toward your goals.

That experience inspired me to follow this path and become that kind of educator for others. I was especially drawn to Special Education because of how meaningful it felt to support students on the spectrum. It brought me a lot of joy and showed me that the work I do can truly make a difference.
