Until he and his parents visited a target in their neighbourhood, which featured a new ad that included a boy near his age who was in a wheelchair and smiling. The ad made him very happy according to his parents because it made him see there are other kids out there who face his same wheelchair struggle. I think this story is very inspiring as Target is a company that has always been very inclusive to all body types and conditions in their ads, as they feature plus size models, disabled models and people of colour in most of their ad campaigns. The now 99 year old Tom Moore set a goal of raising £1000 for NHS charities starting on the 6th of April. His original goal was to gain support from his local town of Marston Moretaine in Bedfordshire to help him give back to the organization that helped him recover form being a civil engineer in the second World War. For their generosity in donating,  Mr. Moore was going to walk 100 laps of his 25m garden before he turned 100. A few days after his journey began, his story gained international recognition and support. Days after starting, he smashed past his goal of £1000, causing Mr. Moore's daughter to raise the target to £100,000, then £250,000, then £500,000, which where all property smashed. “I thank the British public from the bottom of my heart,” Moore told BBC. “It’s difficult to imagine all these kind people who have donated so far. It’s just amazing.” Mr. Moore now plans to continue past his prior 100 laps and plans to do another 100 to raise more money for NHS. I believe that this story is a prime example of what humans can do when we have mutual goal and drive in mind. The shoes are made to be easily cleaned off as it is relevant to the times, as well as to be comfortable to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. My opinion on this article and Nike's kind actions as a whole are obviously positive. In times such as now Nike is contributing more than most.
