This image of water just amazes me. In general I like the way water looks and how it works itself on the planet. People need water to survive, however water can hurt someone as well so that's the beauty of it. Water can be so gentle but it can also break the hardest rocks.

I chose this image that relates to me because it's a symbol for martial arts that resembles not only yin and yang principles, but also freedom. I say freedom as in being free from any styles or systems that can degrades someone's skill in anything in life. I always question why some people from different religious have a belief about what they're are following is correct. Like for example, an Islamic person and a buddhist person. I chose Chinese martial arts because I have a general interest in them and I have been practicing them for awhile. This movie here is called Ip Man and it introduces a martial artist who is the top in his town. Basically the movie shows off a martial art called Wing Chun. I think martial arts is one of man's earliest forms of art since it deals with expressing human emotions and movements.

This a religious art piece from back in the day and it has a ufo in it obviously. I have found it odd how artworks from back then to cave paintings have had vehicles in them or beings that look like aliens. I wonder if people from back then have interacted with aliens for better technology . I believe so much of earth's history is gone.

I believe this artwork would be good to use because it is a painting of the founder of Wing Chun. I think it would be important to introduce her because she involves the history of the martial art, why she developed it, and also philosophy on the martial art. Wing Chun has contributed a lot to the development of martial arts in china and the people in making them more disciplined.

Bruce Lee is a very iconic figure in the martial arts and movie industry. He identifies not only with martial arts but with culture as well. Bruce lee helped introduce Wing chun and Jeet Kune Do into film and tv and astonished fans with how good the fighting art is. Also there were signs of immigrants from other countries getting bullied or discriminated against just because they're not this color or have this way of thinking. Bruce Lee has shown people to stand up for themselves and to never follow the crowd and to actualize oneself to bw happy with others.

This is the new character poster for the new avengers movie that is releasing soon. I think this poster is very interesting because we see new characters and also changes to previous characters from the other films. Iron man has a new suit, Hulk looks more like banner now, Hawkeye is back, Captain Marvel is back, etc. This roster gives the audiences hope that the avengers are going to bring back their old friends and stop the mad titan called Thanos. The forms I see are the characters in an aggressive stance charging at something like if they were going to battle somebody. Also you notice the value of the picture where the characters are all lightened up while the background is dark. The background looks destroyed and depressing compared to the heroes.

We see in the movie how dre moved from the United States to China in the very beginning because his mom has a new job. When he is in China, he meets someone named Mr. Han who eventually becomes dre's kung fu master. You notice how it's very populated in the city and people are very active outside. In China, it's part of the culture to always have your body moving like water because it promotes good general health. You notice how Mr. Han is like a plumber/ technician. In China, these are jobs that are very common since people don't have enough money for school and even people who work these jobs don't get paid a lot. Mr. Han knows kung fu because in China, kids at a early age in school are taught kung fu and it's up to the person if they still want to practice I when they're older. I know all of this because some of my family is from China and they tell me sometimes stories of what they see in public and also they tell me how life was when they were little.
