Introduction to Waqua.

1.
Waqua is a religion founded by Marcel McNeese. He proposed an idea that religion should be based on the things we can see and feel that we know for a fact give us life on a daily basis. Many agreed with this idea and so Waqua was born . It worships no gods, but instead worships the inanimate object water. This is because water realistically is the giver of all life, and without it life on Earth wouldn't be possible. Waqua has spread across the world and those who practice it live near natural bodies of water.

6.
Holy Sites of Waqua include rivers, lakes, and oceans. None of these can be man made, they all must be natural. Sections of the water must be set aside for those of the Waqua religion to worship in. People of other religions are not allowed to go into the set aside areas for those in Waqua. This is because it is believed that those of other religions taint the water and make it less suitable for those in the Waqua community. Sections of water are set aside using buoys usually in a square shape. This marks the area that only people of the Waqua religion are allowed to go into. This section is also guarded 24/7 as to keep the quality of water to the standards of the Waqua religion. The sections are cleaned regularly by those in the Waqua community.
