For them, any other microscopes are just expensive. He also pointed out that In countries where it is difficult enough to worry about their meals, microscopes may seem like a mere luxury. These are the reasons why he made a cheap microscope, a fold scope.

My opinion: I'm so proud how he made a amazing achievement only with the thoughts of others. I think this technology is important because it can save many lives. Well, there are lots of technologies and inventions in the world. But still, they are so expensive for poor counties to use. You just have to fold the printed drawings and put the Lens on the middle. Then, combine it with your phone and Turn on the camera. The cost is only $0.97 which is about 1,000 won in Korea. Unlike the cost of it,  It can Zoom in 2,000 times. 
  My opinion: I think this technology can be used in many ways. The paper microscope which worth only 1$ can zoom in for 2000x. It will be used in many poor countries for finding diseases such as malaria. My opinion : It is made of paper, an eco-friendly material, to reduce environmental pollution concerns. And because paper is the main material, the price is cheaper than any other existing microscopes.
