You did a great job really highlighting the challenges and overcoming of the challenges to the best of your abilities. Also your assignments in trying to connect with the students and really demonstrate key aspects of their personal lives and whatever they’re comfortable sharing.

GROUP 3: 

I really enjoyed a lot of the assignments you gave to the students, especially the beginning icebreakers. I feel like It really allowed them to express themselves and how honest you were with your challenges seeing as how we experienced a lot of the same challenges. 

GROUP 4: 

I think you did a great job expanding beyond the school and learning more about their community aspect and really honing in on the differences between cultures. 

GROUP 5: 

I think the introductory slide showing yourselves was a great personal touch. It seems as all of the groups were facing the same issues with the students but did a great job being flexible and overcoming cultural differences. Also the magazine is amazing design wise.

Group 3 Review: I love how you organized your website, it’s a very clear and easy way to learn about the country. The pictures were very nice. Your rubric matches your website very well!

Group 4 Review: I love all the different sections you have on your website. Your project matches your rubric nicely. Your project shows all the teamwork going into it!

Group 5 Review: Your presentation was very good. My group also had similar challenges, we also used similar ways to get information for the website. Overall very good, can’t wait to see the final result!

Group 4-You've done a fantastic job thus far. I really admire how well-planned and original the idea was from you guys. There were communication difficulties in many of the groups as well. It's amazing to see how diligently you guys worked on your project. 

Group 2: My group also struggled with communication and participation from the students. Although, your guys’ project came out great, and you guys had great communication and planning in order to do such a great job.

Group 4: This website looks amazing and very interactive. It seems like you guys got good participation from the students. You guys did a good job creating the assignments for the students, and the “I am” poems where a hit to learn about your students personalities, cultures, etc; 

Group 5: I really like the introductory slide you guys added. As it seems like you guys also struggled like my group with the students, as per everyone else you guys overcame those challenges and created an amazing project. I also like that google doc you guys shared to learn from the students. Great job. 

Group 2: in terms of the process mentioned in your presentation, my group can resonate with the challenges you guys mentioned in getting the kids to cooperate and to actually complete the assignments given to them.

Group 3: I like how thorough your rubric was in that the criteria was very detailed. I also like how you guys included the professor being informed throughout as a criteria.

Group 4: I like how straightforward and easy to understand your rubric is. You guys did so without leaving out any major information. I think the comments column was a great addition to your rubric.

Overall, I like how in every group, we were all actively trying to find ways to interact with the kids by providing them consistent activities to do. I took notice that we each faced challenges wen it came to communicating with the kids and getting them to participate in the activities. However, I admire everyone’s patience and diligence in still trying to make it work despite those challenges while still taking something from this experience.

Group 3: Even through the technical issues with the students I think you guys did very well and pushed through the difficulties.

Group 4:I love the website and think you guys did a great job with the details and incorporating the kids ideas.

Group 2: Like most of the groups, we all somewhat struggled with communication between the students and us. I feel like you guys had it worse than others, but you still managed to create a great project. 

Group 3: Great project. What I love the most about your slides is how personal they were compared to other groups. Including each student in the slides separately really added an extra touch, especially by adding a small paragraph  about them. 

Group 4: As I was looking through your group folder, I really love the organization of how you presented your project. It seems like you and your partners had good communication between both sides. Your magazine slides were also amazingly done with an introduction to all the members and vibrant slides with a lot of information. Good job. 

Group 5: I loved how the incorporated everyone into the slides. Even though you also had big problems with communication between groups, you overcame that challenge and still managed to create a creative magazine. 

Group 2: I really like how your group was organized. We could definitely relate to your struggle with missing information from the students since we had the same issue. Overall, I think you guys did a great job dealing with the situation. 

Group 4:  I enjoyed listening to you and looking at your project. It was interactive, and the students appeared to be fully engaged. I think that, despite some communication challenges, you did an excellent job.

Group 5: I liked how you guys had a google document to engage with the students.  It seems that despite the language and communication barrier, you guys were able to engage with the students.
