Her brown hair settled neatly at her side as the wind gently ceased. As her eyes sweep the crowd of her recent patients in El Salvador, they settle on one set that is eagerly gazing right back at her. Marcus, who before Bre came here, was skin and bones with life attached to him by a thread. But, to his amazement, there came a medical van with “Orange Chemical” painted cursively onto each side of the van. A woman dressed in deep purple scrubs with faint orange writing on them addressed herself. She stated that her name was Bre Zippay and that she was there to help those in need. This was always something that she craved for, the satisfaction of helping those in need. That is why she went through those rough years of college. All of those late-night cram sessions that left her tired but ready for the days to come, the many tests that made question whether or not all of this excessive studying was really worth it. These multiple hard times forced her to push harder and muscle through to become adored and glorified as a person.

Lady Zippay was not always loved and adored by many as she grew up in the deepest crevices of Brazil in a town called Iguape. Her life was very simple. Simple eggshell-colored school with bustling streets and sidewalks filled to the brim with friends and family. This little town, even if it was very quaint, was always bustling with life and sunshine-like happiness as this town always supported one another even in the darkest of times. Bre was the most well-known individual in that town, even at a young age. She was always talking to someone, whether they were local or just a traveler, with the brightest and most sparkling smile one could ever see.

As she got older, that sparkle never left as she brilliantly elaborated the many subjects of her school. To everyone, that school was the standard eggshell white that everyone went to every day for the same subjects, with the multiple cracks and chips on the outside. To Lady Zippay, however, the school was filled to the brim with possibilities and the vast amounts of overwhelming knowledge just begging to be tamed and manipulated in whatever possible way that she could.

Bre's Life at Home

Outside of her bustling academic and social life, Bre would spend much of her time with her over-exuberant family. They would have the wildest family nights. Her uncles, Joseph and Eduardo, would become blasted drunk and scavenge the house for the wildest piece of cloth that they could find. They would then proceed to tie ninja style around their foreheads and proceed to prance around the coffee table in their living room while singing slurred and incoherent sea shanties at deafening tones. Even though she only had her one sister Julianne, that didn't stop her family from being plentiful and fun-filled. Her sister would always bring over her kids over on their family nights where many of the family members talked and laughed in small groups scattered about the house. The kids would be playing the cheesiest and most colorful looking game that they could lay their puny hands on. Many of the adults, with the multitude of miss-matched cups in their hands, would be chatting about their troublesome times at work, or perhaps a joke that causes those chiming in to double over in laughter from the extent of it. Almost always, the family game nights would flow over to become an entire of weekend with the family spending the night. Their house only had three bedrooms and minimal space so many of the family would pitch large and small, solid-colored tents throughout their backyard as they slept under the clear night skies filled to the brim with clusters and constellations of all kinds. There would always be a burning fire far enough away from the house that released the wondrous smell of burning wood as it crackled and popped from the escaping air of the logs. Many family members would be up on their feet, whether they would be with a partner or going solo, dancing along with the music of the many genres on the radio. These were the best times that Bre has ever had, that is, until she was accepted to Gannon University, an American school which would proceed to catapult her into a million hardships and accomplishments for the rest of her life.

Transferring to the bustling and noisy streets of America was definitely a drastic change, but one that she quite enjoyed because of her love for learning both about new and unique cultures, and a new language which she needed in order to adapt and survive quickly in the land of the free that was conquered by many English speakers. As an ESL student at Gannon, it was very difficult at first, especially because she was a health major, as she spoke incoherent words that sounded like one threw a dictionary into a blender and tried to corm complete sentences. As she progressed and improved within the language, however, so did she improve in her academic career. Her numerous late night sessions became much easier as she grasped the language by the head and began maneuvering it into the direction that she desired. After four years of being a health major, Bre officially was able to walk along the stage to receive her signed and stamped yellow-like paper that designated her education to her future employers. As she walked along the stage, she wondered if being hired was the best option for a newly graduate like her. In that thought, she packed up her stuff after graduation and moved all the way back to Brazil with her family to propose her lifelong dream that holds not only her fate, but the fate of everyone within the world

After Lady Zippay moved back to her grassy homeland filled with the familiar smells of warm spices and the sound of the rushing river that ran behind her house, she began to formulate her ideas in her head. Of course there was the problem with money now that she was in crippling debt towards the government, but sacrifices needed to be made if she wanted to start her own travelling business. She then began working on it until she thought of combining her two favorite things, travelling the world and helping those in need. As she slowly progressed towards this, with bills after bills piling up both from the loans and the expenses of the shiny new medical equipment, Bre figured out the perfect name for her glorious and soon-to-be successful travel company based on her favorite color titled, The Orange Chemical. Her magical and epic journey skyrocketed from there as she gathered more and more ill patients to nurture and care for. She eventually began to ferry over the rough seas, from calm and quiet oceans, to ferocious and vicious as the winds hissed and growled while the ocean spat back towards the passengers that trespassed. She travelled to many places that needed the attention of a medical professional, until it led her to where she is now, back at home. The place where she began her journey and the place where she is now. This travelling allowed her to experience the many hardships and miracles that life has to offer, but all it takes is that one charitable and kind act that affects those around u, making her one of the bravest and kindest people to know.
