Other forms of Plagiarism can include taking credit for somthing, that someone else done or taking full credit on something that others also worked on. Some famous examples of this include the credit of inventions. At the start of the century, Many new inventions, shaped the future of how we live today. However, there is uncertainty, as to who the rightful inventor is. Thomas Edison is associated with many inventions, because he Patented his designs before anyone else, however people believe that he may have plagiarised other inventors work and credited it as his own. This is of course hearsay, but it still falls into a type of Plagiarism.

Plagiarism happens a lot in popular culture and mainstream news. In Music and Cinema, many Artists and Directors have accused others of stealing their ideas or sounds and passing it off as their own, leading to many legal disputes. One of the most famous cases of this was in the 1990s when a rap artist called Vanilla Ice made a song, that had a guitar rift almost identical to that, of a song by Rock Band Queen. The most recent accusation of plagiarism to hit mainstream news, was in September 2016 during the American Presidential Election campaign. When Republican candidate Donald Trumps wife, read out a speech that was almost word for word exactly the same as first lady Michelle Obamas speech 4 years before.

Sources obtained via internet, has information that is widly available to anyone with access to the world wide web.
Some sources on the internet may not always be Academically credible, this is because most web content can be created or edited by anyone at anytime. So research and background checks is advisable to ensure sources are factual and ensure that they are not out dated, plagiarised or incorrectly sourced.  Due to bias or false media.

Recently Facebook hit the news headlines as people could make fake news headlines without any actual proof or factual evidence, making social media sites like Facebook and Twitter a bad media outlet for finding out factual news stories.

Intranet is a more Credible Source aquired Electronically, it is usually more authentic as it is information that is usually sourced from:-
-Government Documents
-Books
-Newspapers
-Magazines
Intranet is usually regularly updated and gives credit and reference to it's findings, it is internally made up sources that are usually available to company's, schools, librarys or hospitals.
In the case of SRC the Intranet used is "Moodle" which is only available to Staff & Students. What makes this a more academically credible source is the fact that it gives a reliable source, based on more factual content. It is also regulated by higher security and can only be accessed by users with a personal password.

·         Original documents: legal documents, deeds, diaries, speeches, letters and video footage
·         Creative works: poetry, drama, and novels
·         Artefact’s: buildings, antiques, and clothing
They provide accounts that describe historical events which is crucial in educating and learning about generations before us.  They also provide hard evidence for crimes committed.
Secondary Sources
A secondary source is based upon the primary sources and created into many different forms.  The most common forms are as follows:
·         Google
·         Encyclopaedia’s
·         Reference books
·         Biographies
·         Magazines
These all provide us with reviews and previous findings.

Specific Examples,Primary Sources,Secondary Sources,News,Live,Video footage 9/11,Documentary on 9/11,History,Diary of Anne Frank,Book on diaries kept of holocaust,Art,Paintings and photos,Magazine article on 1900’s art.
