American culture is currently a very aggressive culture, it is well known there are lots of media that influence on people’s thoughts and acts, such as the terrible news they hear everyday. Nowadays this is a very dangerous issue, since it impulses people to commit serious crimes that can damage not only themselves, also people around them. The shooting percentages keep raising, everyday there is more issues regarding shootings, result of the influence that an aggressive environment leaves in their citizens. 

Global issue: Culture, identity, community.

Shootings:
I think it relates to community because it represents a big issue such as dangerous shootings in the United States, which leads to how this is something that has shaped the communities in that country's sense of secureness, due to the uncertainty they have about this negative armed activities  

This cartoon along with being very creative regarding the way of showing reality through a metaphoric drawing, also correctly represents the current situation certain communities have to go through everyday. It representantes how big companies only take action about social issues, in this case the LGBTQ community, when it puts their reputation in the game. They do not seriously care about the issue, they just want people to think they are politically and morally acting well. And, if someone criticizes them, they pretend to act hurt, in order to gain credibility from the audience. 

Global issue: Politics, power and justice.
I think it can represent power and justice because FIFA is the international governing body of football, which makes them not only in the public eye but also very influential. This means that despite having a lot of power, it chooses to act morally incorrectly behind closed doors, only acting morally correct when they are being watched.  

I chose the concept of perspective because in the cartoon it can be seen too big global issues being compared, one that has existed since a long period of time in history, which is racism, and the other one a much recent problem, covid 19. Through they both are very serious issues, must people consider coronavirus more important and relevant than racism, not only because it is recent, but because they think it has already been solved. The reality is that the world still battles with this problem and has never gotten completely rid of it. So, it is not correct to ignore it due to the current debut of a new global issue.

This cartoon can be related to creativity since it represents in a very clever and artistic way a metaphoric idea. The idea it wants to represent is how anti- Vaxxers presumably have a much more smaller brain than people who care for their health and get vaccinated, because they do not use already tested vaccines to care for their bodies health, even if they risks other people’s lives because of their actions, the brain being little symbolizes their lack of intellect. The fact of using the image of the grinch and an x-ray tablet was what made this work innovative and creative.

Health

Anti-vaxxers cause serious harm not only to themselves but also to the health of the people around them. This is a serious issue because it collectively harms a large population. Even if vaccines are scientifically proven to work, certain people decide to believe what they prefer to.
