I can not believe this is happening! It's like time is a speedster🏎! Actually, time must be laughing at us, pointing fingers and yelling "catch me if you can."  My question:  how did you grow up so fast?  High school graduation, really Brother!?!  

So,I guess we are all supposed to ACCEPT that this is happening.  It feels like you are telling us, we have no choice!  I mean you did place your stake in the sand when you "declared" a few weeks ago, like some sort of adult proclamation, your plan to attend Cal Poly Pomona.  🏁

For me, it kind of feels like you might be dumping us, all of us! I'm not sure? 😢

But, if you are, let me first say, I am so proud of you.  It has truly been remarkable walking alongside you on this journey.  You are special and loved beyond comparison.  In fact, I am happy to say you are no longer a little boy, trying to figure out his way. You are a young man. An amazing young man with a heart as big as the world you are entering. You are a young man with a desire to soar and explore, literally. Abdullah, at the down of a dime you are always willing and ready to see this world, fly a plane, take a drive, read a book or watch a movie. I am sure, you are a young man with great adventures in front of you. So, as we send you out into this world, here’s a few reminders of some of the most important lessons I hope we taught you well:

God first. Be yourself. Kindness always wins.. Forgive and grow. Breathe and let it go. Be kind. Leave the past behind you. Remember you do not have to rely on friends when you have family, especially siblings and cousins. Be kind to yourself, you are still growing.  Save money. Meet the future with wonder in your heart.  Get things done asap, "now right now".  Do not wait when you were blessed with abilities beyond expectations. Continue to work hard, hard work is doing you well. Be a service.

You are blessed and favored. You are the leader, you have been waiting for in the world. Also, you are 108% right, sometimes group work is "so annoying", but still be kind. Find your own challenges in group work, sometimes the challenge is to be a great project manager. Oh yeah, if you don't have anything nice to say, master the silent shame face😶.  Or lock eyes with someone you trust and laugh internally🧐. I believe you have mastered the art of raising one eyebrow🤨, feel free to use that skill, it is a rare gift!  Oh and finally work hard but have fun!  Enjoy college.

Don’t get me wrong: you are going to school to learn, to get that education, to prepare for the future. But, college is so much more. Take time to make friends, to build friendships that will last a lifetime. Go and enjoy life. Laugh. Be silly. Enjoy these carefree years.

Forget those things which did not serve you well, they are behind. Please look forward to what is ahead. God willing, you are about to embark on a new journey, a new chapter of this life. You’ve learned some powerful lessons! You have had so many amazing mentors, guides and teachers.  I believe you are well prepared.

In truth, still sometimes I look back and wonder if we did enough. If we loved you enough. If we taught you enough. If we were present enough when you needed us. This life definitely didn’t turn out as planned; as you can see things change so quickly and without warning. I am sure we all would give everything to protect and guide you more. But, as you move into young adulthood we are here with you in spirit  no matter where you go.  We cover you with all our prayers and love. Also, if we left any holes in you please forgive us and know we did our best. We will always pray that God picks up and fills all the gaps, all the places there wasn't enough. Let's face it, he’s a much better parent anyway!

In fact, unlike simple humans,  It doesn’t matter where you go, God, will actually be with you. He will actually walk beside you, guiding your steps. He will walk in front of you, leading your path. Inshallah, he will walk behind you, watching over your journey. He is with you always and forever. Mashallah. GOD is truly amazing. 

Okay okay okay! Saying all this reminds me that, actually you can dump us, leave us all here, no problem. We will just keep praying 🤲and send you in the world on the straight path, with God and good as your light! 😃😁👌 🙌🏽
