The Zhou Dynasty had a very strong military especially when they got iron armor ("Ancient China: The Zhou Dynasty.").  The Zhou Dynasty got their religion by earning it. They earned it by conquering the Shang Dynasty (Violatti). Also, we made the Iron Age and had lots of iron to make tools, weapons, armor, and more (Violatti). Even though the Zhou Dynasty did not make many things when they were alive, they were all things that helped them be a great civilization. 1) Their Belief
The Zhou Dynasty believed in the "Mandate of Heaven" which was where heaven controlled the human destiny. The "Mandate of Heaven" started when kings started to believe that they were sons of gods. This struck fear into people. Many different people also believed in different rulers. The emperors though spread "Mandate of Heaven" during the iron age ("Zhou Dynasty.").

2) Their Hierarchy
The Zhou Dynasty believed in Confucianism and Taoism with the "Mandate of Heaven". The Zhou Dynasty did not use Taoism nearly as much as Confucianism. The Emperors would have complete control over the land. This lead to the feudal system ("Ancient China: The Zhou Dynasty.": "Zhou Dynasty.").

3) How They Got Their Belief
The Zhou Dynasty conquered the Shang Dynasty in 1046 BCE. When the Zhou Dynasty lost, they thought that the "Mandate of Heaven" was given to them. 1) Social Structure
The Zhou Dynasty believed in the Confucian hierarchy in their government. The kings and emperors would be on the top, then scholars, and then farmers. The lowest class would be women and slaves. Zhou also had many different kings which made many different people go into different feudal groups.("Zhou Dynasty."). 

2) Military
The Iron Age made a desperate need for a stronger military because the iron would be a lot heavier than the normal leather armor ("Zhou Dynasty."). The Zhou Dynasty thought had a very big army and was a force to be recond with especially with their new iron tools("Zhou Dynasty.").

3) Feudal System
The Feudal System was a big thing when the Zhou Dynasty ruled because it was a way for peasants, slaves, and serfs got land. The emperor gave land to a serf, peasant, or slave. 1)  Language
The Zhou Dynasty made their own language when they existed called Old Chinese. This language could also be called Archaic Chinese. This was considered a great achievement to the Zhou Dynasty ("Zhou Dynasty.").

2) Confucianism and Taoism 
The Zhou Dynasty believed in two Hierarchy's when they lasted, Taoism and Confucianism. The Zhou Dynasty did not use Taoism nearly as much as they did Confucianism. In Confucianism, the emperors had control over everything. The emperors mainly had control over the land ("Zhou Dynasty.").

3) Iron Age
The Zhou Dynasty started the Iron Age which helped them with their military and spreading their religion. The Iron Age helped the military because they had stronger armor which made the troops stronger because they kept keeping the heavy armor on their body. The Iron age gave the military stronger weapons. With both of these, the emperors spread the "Mandate of Heaven" forcefully ("Ancient China: The Zhou Dynasty.": "Zhou Dynasty.").

1) What It Is Based On
The Zhou Dynasty's economy was based on architectural production. One of their accomplishments was putting farmers down by the Yangzi River. Farmers grew rice and wheat there. Growing more food lead to a bigger population than most civilizations. The farmers traded tools, architectural goods, and jade ("Zhou Dynasty: Government and Economy.").
2) Iron Age
The Iron Age was made by the Zhou Dynasty and also played a big role in their dynasty being so great. The Iron Age brought the Zhou Dynasty a suitable economy. There was suddenly a lot more iron tools, iron armor, and weapons. ("Zhou Dynasty.": Violatti). This made projects go way faster because they were using iron instead of something else, for example, wood ("Zhou Dynasty."). The Iron Age made the Zhou Dynasty's military a big force.
3) The Language
The Zhou Dynasty spoke a standardized language which was considered an accomplishment to the Zhou Dynasty and ancient China.
