caring through humanistic approach not only helps speeds up patients recovery but it also increasing the nurse satisfaction.
during my clinical rotation  a nursing staff shift was going so busy one of mother ask her to help to feed her baby as mother was not feeling well so the nurse went to mother take baby in her lap and  started to bottle feed the  baby for more than 20 minutes. and than she started other work.

Humanistic approach is necessary while caring for patient because being human they deserve to be treated with care, dignity, empathy and compassion. We would also want to treated as humaniatic approach beacause that what makes us human . Apart from this, there was a patient I was assigned with. She was reluctant to remove an Iv cannula which was not working, just because she did not wanted  to replace it with new one due to pain. I went to her and approached her in good manner introduced myself and explained the purpose and importance of maitaining a new cannula while she hospitalized and,acknowldged her feelings. She agreed and let me replace her old cannula with new one. In conclusion, I learned that if you treat with your patient with care, respect, and therapeutic communication ,it would have a positive impact on pateint 's health and a nurse's professional life too.

Nursing is considered to be an art that stands on the pillar of care and empathy. These basic emphasizes of nursing field clearly demonstrates the humanistic approach towards the prime responsibilities of job. Being a nurse mostly we have to deal with patients who are in complete miseries and are looking at us to help them somehow getting out of these situations. In such situations just giving them medicine won’t be enough. To deliver a proper nursing care we have to cope with humanistic attributes and we have follow the fundamental rule of nursing care which empathy because without actually feeling their conditions it would be really hard to assist or treat them.

If we say that nursing is an art then in this art we have to develop the humanistic attributes like empathy, care etc. without having a proper grip on humanistic attributes nursing services will be incomplete.in a nut shell nursing care is not possible without humanistic attributes
