Last Meeting in France, Lauris with the youngsters

With the young people in their high school in Lauris, the association Au Maquis conducted interviews about the canteen (food at the high school.)

On the 7th of May, Posters will be produced about what the youngsters would like to change at the canteen.

The Idea: That next year, other actions can be taken, based on the ideas developped in the project.

Last Meeting in France, Lauris with the youngsters

Au Maquis, hosted workshops with environmental ambassadors at Pertuis High School. Students not only met these ambassadors but also visited and actively participated at Commune Ferme in Lauris, where they engaged in cheese production and health and nutrition workshops.

The young people conducted surveys and interviews to understand and improve eating habits in school canteens. Over 90 questionnaires were analysed, resulting in posters for raising awareness! Alongside the online questionnaire, the environmental ambassadors met with schoolchildren to gather qualitative information and better understand the issues surrounding school catering. A discussion in the school playground highlighted the importance of healthy eating.
