Their parents came on as well, and explained what punishment did happen to the bully and what she learned.
The bully's father saved up all his money, and took the girl who was being bullied, shopping and had his daughter help her pick out nice clothes.
The bully explained that she learned not to judge others because you know never know what a person may be going through. Creating a Positive School Climate
- enhance better human relationships with faculty and staff with the students.
- Allow students to feel safe when they come to an adult about their feelings.
- Reassure students by handling the situation instead of ignoring it. (There has been some incidents that I've witness and heard that teachers were not taking students seriously and ignoring their feelings)
- Allow students to know that they can refer to someone if they needed help.
Tier II (Mezzo)
Small Group Counseling.
- Offer Counseling for all individuals
- Again, allow students to know that they can refer to us if they have a situation.
- Give students the strength to talk about their home life and traumatic experiences so that we can address those feelings and hopefully overcome them.
- Allow students to feel heard and be able to relate to other students so that they can create more bonds as well.
Tier III (Micro)
Individuals Receiving Long term Rehab, Empowerment, Natural Support, Education, and Work (RENEW)
- Working with individuals on a base level of intervention
-Giving them the independence that they deserve.
-Give students the option on how to cope with their feelings as well as empowering them to want to get those things addressed.
