We figure out what may be causing the bully to want to bully.&nbsp;<br>Bullies don't always bully for no reason, they may be feeling bullied at home or they may be peer pressured by someone else.<br>Regardless, it is important to address all aspects to hopefully allow students to get along. </div>]]></description>

Not just regular meetings with teachers and staff.&nbsp;<br>I want to create a meeting for the bullies and the bullied as well as involve parents within this meeting.&nbsp;<br>Many times, parents are not aware of their child/ren being bully. Sometimes parents have great alternatives when it comes to punishment that is not always physical.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A student who was being bullied as well as the bully came on the Ellen show. Their parents came&nbsp; on as well, and explained what punishment did happen to the bully and what she learned.&nbsp;<br>The bully's father saved up all his money, and took the girl who was being bullied, shopping and had his daughter help her pick out nice clothes.<br>The bully explained that she learned not to judge others because you know never know what a person may be going through. It is important to embrace others who are having a hard time because you don't realize how much it can hurt an individual. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Tier 1 (Macro)</strong><br>Creating a Positive School Climate<br>- enhance better human relationships with faculty and staff with the students.<br>- Allow students to feel safe when they come to an adult about their feelings.<br>- Reassure students by handling the situation instead of ignoring it. (There has been some incidents that I've witness and heard that teachers were not taking students seriously and ignoring their feelings)<br>- Allow students to know that they can refer to someone if they needed help.<br><strong>Tier II (Mezzo)</strong><br>Small Group Counseling.<br>- Offer Counseling for all individuals<br>- Again, allow students to know that they can refer to us if they have a situation.<br>- Give students the strength to talk about their home life and traumatic experiences so that we can address those feelings and hopefully overcome them.<br>- Allow students to feel heard and be able to relate to other students so that they can create more bonds as well. <br><strong>Tier III (Micro) </strong><br>Individuals Receiving Long term Rehab, Empowerment, Natural Support, Education, and Work (RENEW)&nbsp;<br>- Working with individuals on a base level of intervention<br>-Giving them the independence that they deserve.<br>-Give students the option on how to cope with their feelings as well as empowering them to want to get those things addressed.&nbsp;<br>-One on one counseling.</div>]]></description>

Our question will involve the efforts of teachers and how open they can their teachers and adult authorities.&nbsp;<br>We are hoping to have an increase in students and faculty relationship that are positive.<br>We are hoping to see a decrease in the number of bullying cases as well as physical and verbal altercations.<br>We also want to measure the effectiveness of counseling by doing monthly surveys on the children who do receive counseling. <br><br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
