Multiculturalism is one of the beauties of UAE .  Thereby the students have good vibe with each other. Mostly our students are from Asia and Africa. The background of education  also varies as most of the countries follows their own curriculum.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe the teaching in higher education of engineering mainly focus on sharing of knowledge. During the start of semester a module guide is prepared based on the University’s specification and a teaching plan is prepared. This provides students a clear understanding about the duration of lectures, portions enclosed and the period of independent study required. Teaching plan varies based on the student’s understanding and the module. The prior focuses are<br><br></div><div>·         Design instructions that facilitate learning and encourage autonomy independent thinking in students.</div><div>·         To  critically analyze and write effectively</div><div>·         Problem and project based learning</div><div>·         To narrow down the gap between industrial developments and teaching practices</div><div> </div><div>This is the basic plan followed for the assessments.<br> </div><div>I strongly trust a tutor must go beyond the classrooms to guide, support and inform about the student opportunities for further academic and professional development and is achieved through ICE Student chapters, job fairs, site visits, internships, international conferences, expos etc.</div><div> </div><div>The major encounter faced during my teaching career is to explore various techniques to teach challenged students and how to support them and still in a vicious circle.<br><br></div><div><br> </div>]]></description>
