The Art of Myths

When I look at the artwork I see the gods and their power. I would group these pictures from least to most powerful. You see the issue or struggle in the picture. It doesn't show why but it shows them struggling through pain or juggling a lot of work.

Tone

[tohn] Show IPA

noun

1. any sound considered with reference to its quality, pitch, strength, source, etc.: shrill tones.

2. quality or character of sound.

3.vocal sound; the sound made by vibrating muscular bands in the larynx.

4.a particular quality, way of sounding, modulation, or intonation of the voice as expressive of some meaning, feeling, spirit, etc.: a tone of command.

5.an accent peculiar to a person, people, locality, etc., or a characteristic mode of sounding words in speech.

Mood

1 [mood] Show IPA

noun

1.a state or quality of feeling at a particular time: What's the boss' mood today?

2.a distinctive emotional quality or character: The mood of the music was almost funereal.

3.a prevailing emotional tone or general attitude: the country's mood.

4.a frame of mind disposed or receptive, as to some activity or thing: I'm not in the mood to see a movie.

5.

a state of sullenness, gloom, or bad temper.
Prometheus- The picture shows pain and torture. It is a dark mood and it’s obvious that he is not enjoying it. The mood is unhappy and he looks to be stuck there having to go through the pain. The tone of colors is dark and erry making it an evil looking place. The eagle in the picture is a representative of Zeus. This shows that he was Prometheus to know he’s the one hurting him, and he’s in charge. Almost like every time the eagle comes he is reminded Zeus is more powerful than him.

Icarus and Daedalus

This picture shows the moment that Icarus goes too close to the sun and his wing melt from the heat. His excitement got to the best of him, and he didn’t listen to Daedalus, his dad, when he was told not to go near the sun. Icarus is a very reckless character because he doesn't listen to his fathers words.
