Does the process of looking for art change anything about the way you move or interact with the world? As you recorded what you saw, did your connection to the world change in any way?

I think making the intention to find art in my everyday life was allowing me to really appreciate the world around me and take into account why things were placed or designed as they were. Things definitely stood out more or were actually noticed by me while I was walking campus or just getting things done at home. I feel like I got to appreciate the beauty of everything around me more when I was intentionally looking for art in my life.

How are the types of visual art you encounter daily different from one another? How could we categorize the art you found in your daily life?

I think the types of art I encountered really varied. Some of them are genuinely considered “art” by most when you see it at a first glance, such as the statue or boat structure. However, some things like the pillow or the bus stop sign you have to dig further into to find that artistic “view” on it. As for categories, obviously there’s the statues/structures, you could categorize decoration, landscaping, etc.
