SSVP COTT Wishing Tree initiative allows donors/sponsors to “adopt” "wish tags" from our virtual wishing tree.

“Wish Tags” are defined as wishes put up on our virtual wishing tree by our FIN (Friends in need) families.

To “adopt” a wish tag involves a donor/sponsor fulfilling that wish through one of  two categories, namely: Gifts-in-kind and Gift of Prayer.

We thank you for the good intention and will check if there is a requirement from our Friends in need (FIN) for such an item . We will get back to you within 5 days.

Do I get a receipt for donations?

We generally do not issue receipts but we can do so upon Donor's request

Are donations tax deductible?

Donations are not tax deductible as this project is not registered with the government. It’s driven by SSVP COTT to bring some cheer to the FINs in Punggol.

SSVP COTT is calling for donation of used working laptops for  Friends in need and their children .

The donated laptops will be given a complete data-wipe and refurbished by our volunteers to be internet and zoom ready before distributing it on loan to our students / friends/ families-in-need who can use them for their school and work. Our conference is building a small stock to enable us to do a one for one exchange whenever their laptops are faulty and we will then repair and recirculate them again if possible. This will help our friends-in-need to stay connected, upgrade themselves and also enable their children to have zoom tuition.
It is also a green initiative to minimize e-waste.

Fin wishes for a Pressure cooker so that she can cook meat faster for her family meals. She usually takes 4 hours to cook the meat. As she has 3 children, of which 2 are toddlers,  it can be challenging to look out for them while cooking. Hence with the Pressure cooker,  it will keep her kids safer too.
