<title>Julius Caesar was a general who served in the 3rd Punic war and helped bring Carthage to its knees. He held much popularity in Rome, and was elected dictator, and pronounced himself dictator for life. Unfortunately the Senate disagreed with this, plotted and executed him. They thought this would restore balance to Rome and the people would be joyous. This was not the case. After his Death, chaos ensued leading to the ultimate fall of the Roman Republic. </title>

<title>The collapse of the western Roman empire was a result of Germanic peoples to the north, invading the south due to pressure from the Mongols. This paired with the massive area Rome would have needed to protect from the Invaders made defense nearly impossible. And the icing on the cake so to speak, The western Roman empire was severely poorer than its eastern counterpart and didn&#39;t have the financial stability to support troops and defenses, riddling them helpless to the ensuing onslaught.</title>

The other group (The Shi&#39;a) disagreed with this heavily and swore only The descendent of Mohammad could be caliph, leading to a disagreement that is still seen today.</title>
