The late 16th and 17th centuries who regarded the Reformation of the Church of England under Elizabeth as incomplete and sought to simplify and regulate forms of worship. Puritans disliked Church of England they believed in pure religion  and  the Church of England didn't do that. When King Charles II ruled, he intimidated or hated the Puritans. Which caused the Puritans to leave in 1620 to the new world. Calvinism, the picture shown is John Calvin. Witch Trials is a hearing, or a case trial of the witch getting her punishments for doing magic.
