Hello my name is Yanina Conejeros and today I will write about my favorite band, The name of the band is Queen. It is a British rock band that enjoyed great fame from the mid-seventies and throughout the eighties.

The origins of Queen date back to the early sixties, when the young guitarist began playing in a semi-professional group called 1984. he or she had a great knowledge on several instruments.

Brian May later became part of another band, called Smile, with which he released a single. Unexpectedly, Tim Stafell, the singer of Smile, left the training; To find his replacement, the members of Smile decided to audition the singer of the group Sour Milk Sea, but it was none other than Freddie Mercury however, he was quickly admitted.

The members of this band are:

-Freddie Mercury is the one who sang in the band.

Freddir Mercury was born on September 5 of 1946 in Zanzibar, he died on November 24 of 1991 in London. Brian May was born on July 19 of 1947 in Hamptom (England).

John Deacon was born on August 19 of 1951 in Leicester, Rojer Taylor was born on July 26 of 1949.

The type of music of this band is rock and roll, the first time I heard goes when me friend, but actually the first time I heard the band was because of my father, but at that moment I only heard one song because I didn't know the name of the band.

I like this band for the sounds of the instruments they play like the guitar and what the band tries to convey in the songs among other things, I think other people think they are the best band or maybe the worst band. although it depends on the musical genre that the person likes.

Freddie Mercury is a great singer for that reason he sings better than me however, it does not discourage me. I usually like to sing the songs of my band when I am not Im my house.

Sometimes when I go for a walk, I listen to the songs of my band.

The name of the band is "BTS", is a group created by the company "Big Hit", which debuted in 2013 with the song "No more dream". There are seven members in total, RM-V-Suga-Jhope-Jimin-Jin and Jung Kook. All the members were born in South Korea. The group plays K-pop music, they cannot play an instrument when they are performing because they sing and dance at the same time, but there are members who do know how to play an instrument.

I heard them for the first time in 2014 with the song "Boy in luv". Although they didn´t catch my attention first, I enjoy listening to their music. I like their music because in my opinion they give powerful messages with a gorgeous meaning in the lyrics of their songs, they speak about self-love, chasind our dreams, speaking for ourselves, having more confidence in ourselves and other beautiful messages. Also, for all their hard work every year to performing better than previous years and to perform the most confidently in their presentations and concerts. Another thing that I love about them is that they are still as humble as they were at the beginning of their careers, and I hope to go to some of their concerts one day.

This band right now are very popular around the world. Even though people have different opinions about them. However, I don't care what other people think, in my opinion they are great. For examples, a lot of people say that they are amazing, and their music helped them too much to overcome difficult situations in their lives, but exist other people that say bad comments about them just because they use makeup or they´re Asians, even people say, "Their fans are very toxic""They use playback""They don't have talent", among other bad comments. Although a lot of famous people just invite them to their shows because they know that if they invite them, they can have more viewers on their shows or programs.

My favorite band is “Deftones”

Deftones is an alternative rock, un metal and post metal band formed in 1988.

This band made up of:

-Stephen Carpenter, guitarrist and creator of the band

-Camilo Wong Moreno, vocalist

-Chi Cheng, bassist of the band, who died at 44 years of age on April 13, 2013 after spending almost 5 years in a coma due to car accident

-Sergio vega, the band´s new bassist

-Frank Delgado, Kyboarding and Dj

-And Abe Cunningham, drumer of the band.

I started listening to this band when i was 9 – 10 years old.

I love Deftones because it was one of the first meta bands I listened to and over the years i became very fond of their songs and members.

Vocal aggressiveness , personal introspection in the lyrics, the sound of guitars and drums, make me have 100 feelings at the same time, such as anger and frustation; euphoria and pleasure.

The band won 1 gold record and 3 platinum.

Camilo Wong Moreno, better known as Chino moreno is in position 51 of the 100 best metal vocalist of all time.

Thank to them, great bands such as System of a Down, Linkin Park, Slipknot and many more were born.

Today, thank to the tiktok application the band gains even more followers.

My favourite band is Imagine Dragons. They are an american group that have 4 members, they are Dan Reynold, Daniel Wayne, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman. Although in te band play pop music, they played differents types over the years.

I listened to their musiic when i was 10 years old and always loved it. Their vocalist is incredible and reaches a high pitch.

In my opinion, they are a incredible band because when i listen they music, i feel the feelings that they put in their music. However, other people think that they have bad music and it is normal but i dont think it.

Maroon 5 is a band of pop rock, which comes from EE. UU, there are a seven menbers, there names are: Adam Lavine(singer), James Valentine (principal guitare), Jesse Carmichael (pianist), P. J Morton (keyboardist), Matt Flynn(drums), Sam Farrar (electric bass), Mickey Madden(electric bass).
Recently the name of the band is Marron 5. However, in 1995 the name of the band was Kara's Flowers.

In mi opinion, this band in better than other bands of pop rock music, because their concert are very lively.
I started to listen this type of music not long ago, but the little bit that i have listened liked me very much. The reason i like this band is the performance, and the form they play the instruments also, Adam Lavine's voice, is nice.

The band I'll talk about is One direction. It was a British band created in 2010 on a talent show in London, The X Factor. The members are Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.They don't play instruments, they only sing, although Niall did play guitar many times. Their type of music was Pop and Rock. I heard them for the first time in 2012 if I'm not mistaken, in their first album, for the song One Thing.After that, I didn't know more about them until 2015, when I knew they separated. However, I heard them again in 2020 in Quarantine I really like this band because they are different from the others in my opinion, they always fall, throw water at each other, sometimes dress in bananas. They are terrible dancers although once they danced La Macarena, they run on stage, fight each other as a joke, they are very interactive with their fans, they have some dolls of them, they brought out 4 perfumes, laugh a lot in the interviews. And so many more things.I don't know what people think of them and I don't care, I don't talk much about that subject with people who are not close to me. Now everyone tends to undervalue other artists who are not reggaeton, I don't speak for everyone.They made their debut with their first song What Makes You Beautiful and won several awards with the song, including a Brit. evanescence is a rock band that was founded in 1995 in Little Rock, Arkansas by singer and pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. the band members are: Amy Lee(singer), Troy Mclawhorn(guitar), Will Hunt(acoustic drums), Jen Majura(guitar), Tim McCord(bass) and Rocky Gray(acoustic drums). they play rock music. i heard about the band when i was 13 years old and the first song i heard was bring me to life but the song that made this band become my favorite was going under. i like their songs because they are very good and express a lot of emotions. the band became famous in 2003 with their full album fallen, then they didn't release more songs until 2021 although people still listen to them. in my opinion the band has very good songs and very good musical rhythm for what they want to express to the public that listens to them. people think that the band has songs that express a lot of good and bad feelings and in their videos you can see what they are expressing you don't need to know english for what they want to show to the public.

NWA it's a band of hip hop and rap music, this band have seven members, the most important members are: eazy- e, dr.dre, ice cube, inthe band they are 2Djs and the rest are singers, however tivan was born in Compton, USA, a lot of songs are about this city. When I was 10 years old, iheart to the hip hop and rap music but NWA i listen to the first time at 3 or 4 years ago. NWA was finish it very fast because ice cube didn't sign a contract for Jerry the manager this was the beginning of the troubles and dr.dre do the same months later and then begun a solo career. In my opinion they will be more famous than NWA and new rap singers be famous because dr.dre form they and then Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 cents, 2pac being famous.If NWA never existed a lot of rap singers can be rap singer or famous. In my opinion NWA is one of the most important groups oh 90's rap or in the genre in general. A lot of people things this band is cool anyway it depends of what genre you like. Even though NWA is the best! (It's weird because Dr Dre is better like singer than DJ)
In conclusion I like this van because I have a history and have good rithm and Flow.

The Jackson 5 or also called J5, The Jackson Brothers and later named The Jacksons, it's a musical band that at first was formed by 5 african american brothers, which names are: Jackie Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, Morlon Jacksonand and the one that we all know about (also an ex-member), Michael Jackson. Although the young brother, Randy Jackson, joined them later.
The type of music this band used to played is: pop, soul, funk, disco music and pop rock.
I met them beacuse of one time, i was watching a show named "glee" (which is a musical), and there was a song named "ABC" that i liked very much. So i looked for whose song it was, and then i met them and i liked them a lot, so i started listening to some of their songs.
I like their music because principally i like that type of music, it makes me happy, makes me wanna dance, and it chairs me up too.
I don't know much people who know about them. However i asked my dad and he said, he used to listen to them when he was young and he really liked them too.
Currently, i don't know much of what happened to them, but i know, when they started they were quite successful.

The name of the band is twenty one pilots is an American musical duo from Columbus, Ohio. The band was formed in 2009 by vocalist Tyler Joseph along with Nick Thomas and Chris Salih.
I listened to this music in 2014 when I was 10 years old and I loved the musical arrangement and its style of music. The first song I heard was ride and stressed out and I really like them.

My favorite band is Metallica, a metal band (trash metal, heavy metal). The members of this band are James Hetfields as vocalist and rhythm guitar, Lars Ulrich as drums, Kirk Hammet as lead guitar and Robert Trujillo as Bass.

I generally listen to differents genres and music groups but I really love NCT 127.
NCT 127 is the main subunit of NCT (a band with the concept of growing up every year, so more members are being added, now they are 23 boys from differents countries distributed in 4 sub-units) and it is formed by 9 boys: Taeyong who is the leader and one of the 3 main rappers, Doyoung, Taeil, Jaehyun, Haechan and Yuta are the vocalist, and finally Johnny and Mark are the others main rappers.

The genre they sing is kpop and hip hop, but they also have differents types of songs, although the main concept is hiphop.
The first time I heard about them was at the beginning of 2016 but I started listening to them in August of the same year thanks to my cousin who recommended them to me.

I like NCT because it is a complete group, they have among their members the best dancers in the kpop industry, their choreography and coordination with the 23 members is incredible to see, they also write and compose their own songs, the vocalists can make high notes that are impressive and when they sing together it sounds beautiful.
The rappers are not far behind, their talent for freestyle is really cool, how they combine rap with the vocals is amazing, the whole group is great.

Many people hate NCT as a band because they think their concept is unnecessary and that they shouldn't keep adding more members, but in my opinion this makes it even more interesting and differentiates them from other common groups. Although I have followed them for years I sometimes get confused with the sub units, but I still think that NCT is a very cool group and that their songs are worth listening to, reading and enjoying.

The name of my favorite band is " The Beatles", it was a band made up of 4 world-renowned members and the type of music they played was rock and roll combined with weird sounds, they played it with different varieties of instruments, like sitar and different types of guitars and drums.
They started their musical career in 1956 when one of their members John Lennon created the group "The Quarry Men", but later Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Stuart Sutcliffe joined, however they were looking for a new name for the group.
Even though the group was made up of more than five people, two of the members left the band and were replaced by Ringo Starr.
I've heard about them for as long as I can remember, my father has always talked about them.
I was interested in them, but I never listened to their music until a few years ago when my sister started to listen to them.
I like this band because most of their songs are about inexplicable love that always shows the beauty and value of the person they are singing to.
Besides, more than once I have felt identified with her songs like "And I love her", "Do you want to know a secret" and "Anna". This band as it was created a long time ago and now obviously they are separated and more than one has pass away, nowadays people as I have seen don't talk much about them unless you take them up as a topic of conversation, but they are still an icon in the musical career and I think that most people will always recognise them just by name, they are like a legend and when they started to share their music around the world people fell in love with them to the point of committing crazy things, an example could be that in 1965 when they performed at Shea Stadium, people went so crazy that they had to take the band out in a tank, people broke windows and threw things at these singers but not as a sign of hate, for them it was love.
