Art studio that teaches kintsugi, the art of restoring pottery using precious metals. You start with a piece of broken pottery, and then use files and knives to shape the cracks to accentuate the shape and flow of the broken area. After adhering the pieces back together, you finish the piece with gold dust. Turning something "broken" into something "beautiful"

I’m typically not a cat person, but a friend that was visiting found this kitten in a nearby park. The friend was leaving town, so she left this sweet kitten with me and I helped it get to a shelter. This was such a random surprise for my day. It was really tender to connect with this small animal for a few hours - to feel its heart beat and to hear it purr as it felt safer. In return, I felt my anxiety go down and my ability to be present increase. This opportunity was as helpful to me as it was to the kitten 💞
