1. Initial thoughts

1. At the start of the project, I felt overwhelmed by how quickly our group got started. Everyone was very organised and delegated tasks so that we could collectively use ideas to form our research question. During this time, although I felt less smart and knowledgeable than others, I used this insecurity to my advantage. I began asking lots of questions and advice on how to do stakeholder maps, find the specific literature relevant to us and understand how to use other software to present my data.

2. Due to my experiences in year 1, I feared that our team wouldn't get along or may not have been very productive. However, I found that the workload was distributed evenly, and we all took responsibility for our roles.

3. Helping others!

3. My final concern was that one of my team members wasn't very talkative and gave very little input verbally throughout the semester. It was quite difficult to get through to this member due to the language barrier. However, I tried to be empathetic and kind to help this person feel more confident and motivated about our research. Over the last few weeks, she became more talkative and contributed more than she initially did.
