Each year, Americans commemorate the National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions that both Hispanic and Latino Americans make to the nation over the years. 
 
Hispanic refers to people who speak Spanish or who are descendants from Spanish-speaking countries. In other words, Hispanic refers to the language that a person speaks or that their ancestors spoke. 
Latino refers to Geography: specifically people from Latin America including Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

Roberto Gómez Bolaños was a Mexican actor, comedian, screenwriter, director and producer. He was born on February 21st in 1929. Before becoming an actor, he was an amateur boxer. He also studied engineering but he didn’t graduate. His stage name was Chespirito. He is one of the icons of Spanish-speaking humor and entertainment, and one of the greatest comedians of all time. The character of “El Chavo” is one of the most iconic in the history of Latin American television, and it is very popular nowadays. He died on November 28th in 2014, in Cancun.

She became director of the center upon the retirement of the previous director in 2012. He was a very important figure as regards medicine. Also, he was an essential figure in Hispanic Community. He died on July 29th in 2000, in fact, he suicided.
