Catholics, Jews, Immigrants, and any other group said to be "un-american"</P><P>-Claimed to fight for "Americanism" </P><P>-By 1924 almost 4 million people were members</P><P>-Began to decline because of leadership and power struggles</P><P>-A former preacher William J Simmons refounded the KKK in 1915</P>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<P>This particular court case effected peoples views on morality and society because this case had no evidence but because of their ethnicity they were charged as guilty. This showed that society was changeing thier morals because people were being prosecuted based on their color and beleifs rather than what is true fact and science. </P><P>2 men robbed and murdered 2 employees at a shoe factory</P><P>-Police arrested 2 italian immigrants</P><P>-People assumed they were guilty because they were immigrants and opposed the government</P><P>-They were found guilty and were executed 6 years later in 1927</P>]]></description>

They began to change because of the allowance of personal freedoms and behavior.</P><P>Allowing immigrants into the county and working for cheaper</P><P>-Emergency quota act allowed only 3% total ethnic group live in the nation</P><P>-Cheap labor was favored so some were seen as radicals </P><P>-Mexican immigrants were able to work because the quota exempted the western hemisphere</P>]]></description>

The way the women were acting with their role changes and views toward society caused people to beleive traditional society and morals were under attack. </P><P>Women were breaking free from what was normally expected of them</P><P>-Women were taking jobs for financial independence</P><P>-Flabber girls were created and were smoking a drinking and dressing more revealing</P><P>-Major contributions were made to science, law, medicine, and law all by professional women</P><P>-automobiles were helping with role changes because of young people breaking free from their parents watch</P>]]></description>
