This collaborative repository brings together a selection of teaching resources developed by students with the aim of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into English teaching. The content was created based on the analysis of Unit 2 content and individual exploration of different AI applications, with the aim of enriching teaching practices through educational technology.

In this Padlet, visitors will find:

Expert presentations on AI tools such as Quizlet, ChatGPT, Grammarly, Kahoot!, and Wordtune, detailing their features, advantages, and applications in language teaching.

Lesson plans designed around each tool, focusing on specific language skills such as reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and speaking.

A complete teaching unit, developed collaboratively, that exemplifies the comprehensive use of these technologies in a real-life educational context.

Innovative AI-based activities that promote active participation, independent learning, and the meaningful use of English.

Critical reflections on the new role of teachers in the era of Artificial General Intelligence, highlighting the need for humanized, ethical, and adaptive teaching.

This digital space has been carefully organized to facilitate navigation, access to materials, and their potential implementation in various educational contexts. Its objective is to offer pre-service and practicing teachers a practical and thoughtful guide on how to transform their classes with the support of AI, strengthening both the development of digital skills and meaningful English language learning.

Reflection on the Role of Teachers in the Face of General AI Haci Hassan Yolcu's article focuses intensely on how artificial general intelligence is transforming the way we teach, the educational environment, and how we perceive it. One of the most pertinent ways is the paradigm shift, which entails moving from a traditional education model focused on the transmission of knowledge to one where the educator acts as a mediator, guide of learning processes, and facilitator. The author highlights that artificial general intelligence (AGI) can take on mechanical or repetitive processes, such as the validation of exercises, content creation, and data analysis. This allows teachers to focus on more human aspects such as empathy among students, critical thinking, ethics, creativity, and socio-emotional skills. In this environment, the role of the English teacher will need to transform toward creating more individualized learning experiences, relying on AI technology tools to adapt to the content, pace, and style of each student. More than just a source of grammar or vocabulary, the teacher becomes a builder of learning, capable of constructing and integrating digital resources. Teachers also foster reflective processes and will be able to promote meaningful interaction between students and technology. They must also be ethical representatives, competent to guide their students in the responsible, critical use of artificial intelligence in language learning, as well as in everyday life. Therefore, the inclusion of AI does not diminish the importance and significance of the teacher; instead, it revalues it. The challenge is to embrace transformative pedagogical leadership that embraces classroom diversity, which can make good use of technology as an ally, which can promote student autonomy and collaboration. This new implementation of AI in student training and in their education is important because it allows them to acquire flexible thinking and awareness that although technology is excessively surprising and very up-to-date, it can never replace the humanity that lies in authentic teaching
