He was an Irish novelist and writer, is known for his novel Dracula, published in 1897. Bram was the third of the seven children they had Abraham Stoker and Charlotte Mathilda Blake Thornley. At the age of seven, he recovered completely after spending the first seven years of his life in bed, which forced him to do his first studies at home with privates teachers. His first horror story was published in 1872 in London, entitled "The Cristal Cup" and his first novel was published in 1875 entitled "The Primrose Path".
