I allowed them to make the choose of colour they wanted. They helped measure the ingredients and mix it up. After the playdough was made, they enjoyed playing with it using their hand and other items such as rolling pins and cutters. They made a variety of different things with the playdough, some making food, others making animals. They did this this in pairs at a table outside. While they were doing this, I observed the children communicating with each other children, tell others which kind of material and colour paint they were using.
