         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>A tundra is a bleak and treeless place. It is unusually a cold, dry climate </li><li>It’s cold all year but in Summer it’s a milder climate and the sun shines for almost 24 hours, although the sun doesn’t warm up the tundra that much.</li><li>Summer lasts for 6-10 weeks and never gets any warmer than 45-50 degrees fahrenheit </li><li>Summer creates a layer of permafrost that never goes away, creating shallow lakes</li><li>During long winter months the sun barely rises and it’s dark most of the day</li><li>In Winter temperature 20 degrees fahrenheit is the highest and the average is -20 and -30 degrees </li><li>Precipitation: 6-10 inches including melted snow</li><li>Location: Greenland ,Alaska, Northern Canada, Northern Russia  </li><li>Vegetation in Tundra includes Calliergon giganteum, Rock Willow, Bearberry, Caribou Moss, Reindeer Lichen,  Diamond-leaf Willow, St. James's Tea, Pasque flower, Tufted Saxifrage </li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>A hot and dry desert doesn’t usually have many plants, and the ones they have are low down plants. This is because it is too hot for most plants to survive.</li><li>The temp. In a hot desert would usually range from 20-25 degrees, however the extreme maximum temp. For hot deserts can range from 43.5-49 degrees. </li><li>Hot and dry deserts don’t usually have much rainfall, but when they do it is in short periods between long periods of no rainfall. There is usually an average of 15 cm of rain a year</li><li>Deserts can be found all over the world, however most hot and dry deserts are near the tropic of cancer, or the tropic of capricorn.</li><li>Most of the vegetation in deserts are cacti, such as the Barrel cactus and the Chain Fruit Cholla, shrubby plants like the Mojave Aster and plants with thick trunks like the Joshua Tree. </li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><strong>Coverage:</strong> The tropical rainforest biome is an ecosystem that covers about 2-7% of the Earth's surface. </li><li><strong>Location</strong>: They are found all over the world but the majority of the tropical rainforest are located in South America in Brazil. </li><li><strong>Weather/Rainfall:</strong> The weather in the tropical rainforest is rainy all year round which explains why it’s plantation is so dense.
