         <title>Carmen Skaggs: We had mentioned taking a look at SoftChalk and Kaltura on Friday.&amp;nbsp; Because this is my introduction to many of these technology tools, I would like to discuss which ones work best for what kind of assignments/engagement activities.&amp;nbsp; In the online section of the course, my students will be offering weekly reading responses, and viewing and thinking about the American passages film series (part of the overview/introduction to major periods).&amp;nbsp; These will be the anchor activities of each weekly module.&amp;nbsp; Perhaps we could talk about why certain tools would work well with these goals.&amp;nbsp; </title>
