I am grateful for the leaders and public service personal who are protecting us from these wildfires and the global pandemic that we battle everyday. I am so thankful for science, technology, and knowledge that has brought us further in progressing humanity in the present. I am glad that I can still see that there are so many people and organizations around the world that are looking to do as much good as they possibly can while minimizing the amount of bad that that they produce while doing so. In my own personal life I am so very thankful for my mom, who has always been a person who I can count on. I occasionally struggle to see the bright side of the world around me. It seems as I have gotten older that the amount of evil grows more with each passing year, but it is important to acknowledge the good even when things seem the darkest.
