I think capitalism is necessary for our society because it results in the best prices for consumers. Capitalism causes profit growth and without it the economy staginess and regresses. To add on, socialism never works and a perfect socialist economy has never been created. In my opinion it only leads to tyranny and blood, this can be seen today in North Korea and Cuba.

I think capitalism works better than communism/socialism because it helps make people work hard and learn how to do different things which would give them skills that could help them in situations they may find themselves in

I agree with arya how ceo don't work as much as the average employee and capitalisms is just pure greed in a socialism society we have a lot of benefits they focus on caring for people like the disabled, elderly and children. In a capitalist society to much things become controlled.

The first to start, Michael, I believe that socialism is needed for our society because it betters for everyone in the end. With the higher ups like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, they seem as we the middle class which is about to be taken off the board and the lower class, don't need much help. They seem as the rules don't apply and try to take advantage of many middle to lower class workers.

Capitalism is unfair because capitalism only benefits the Rich, when you own a big company no one can compete against you because you are very well know and can topple lower business. Socialisms goal is to benefit all the people and make sure everyone is equal, not letting any person be above anyone.

I think socialism is better for our society because it provides everyone an overall fairness. Socialism provides everyone an equal share of wealth and resources. It also focuses on meeting the basic needs whereas in a capitalist's society goods and services are used to generate profit.

I agree with Amarie because socialism provides a lot of benefits for the disabled and other people who normally do not get benefits and also provides an equally of oppurtunity.

I agree with Amarie because she has a strong point that we don't get enough and more should be provided for the disabled and more important aspects of life. Socialism is a huge aspect of people's daily lives and without it an even bigger mess would be created.

We need socialism for our society because it helps everyone at the end of the day, and it would better help where we live and just everything in total but at the end of the day not everything is going to be perfect. Some people want their own way and their own way only and you can't just change that, because you never know what they've been through and how hard they worked in their life. But still at the end of the day not everyone is gonna want that and even I can understand why and it's because they worked really hard for what they wanted and sometimes I feel the exact same way. So I agree with Socialism more but I can also understand why some people want Capitalism.

We should remain capitalist while also implementing more socialist policies. The wealth gap is ever growing while the rich are exploiting the lower class. Socialism provides citizens with the ease of mind to take risks knowing that their livelihoods aren't uprooted should they choose to start a business.

People said that it might be better to lean towards Capitalism to build a better economy and new products. Also believing that Socialism always leads to communism in the long run (ex. Cuba)

A wealthy society can create more, money makes things easy

Others said that Socialism supports those who are unable to work, to help the needy. Capitalism ignores those who might not be able to do things on their own, like the elderly or disabled. It also leads to equality of opportunity.

Everyone seems to be close to the center, but a majority were leaning right. People worry about a slowing economy

I agree with capitalism because, Healthy competition is one of capitalism's main advantages. Everyone improves via competition. Businesses are compelled to offer a wider range of services, better customer support, and more when they are in competition for business. Growth is stimulated by competition.

Elena and Gabriel say that capitalism keeps a competitive nature but me and my group think that we shall have have a say in what is our right. We have to think there is stuff this society our we have opinion on, to know that many nations are keeping a competitive ground, it makes it unfair for many people.

I believe society should be more socialist as capitalism promotes greed and inequality. It forces individuals to compete with one another and tries to justify itself claiming that such competition is "necessary" to advance society when in reality the rich just keep getting richer without a care about what happens to the poorer majority.

I think that capitalism is fair to a point but is necessary for economic growth. We need capitalism to grow as a economy and strive for more. I don't agree with how rich are constantly getting richer and the middle class is pretty much being taken our of the economy. I think its great that the economy is growing and you can create any business you want and profit from that, not everything is government runned but it is becoming a big issue that the middle class is becoming a class of struggle.
