In class we watched an artist name Heather Hansen make a piece of art using chalk while moving all over the paper. This art had a lot of emotion behind it.

Q1: Still Life Composition

Throughout a few weeks, we did a project where we brought a meaningful object that represented something about ourselves. I brought in my badge from a theatre trip because theatre means a lot to me.

Line Weight

One of our projects in Quarter 1 was to make a drawing and use a line weight technique in the art. I drew 2 dolphins jumping out of the ocean.

Still Life

In Quarter 1, we did a project where we brought in a meaningful object and drew it with a bunch of other objects. I brought a badge from my thespians trip because this trip was really fun and taught me a lot.

This quarter, I have learned about shading and line weight. This has made me a better artist and I hope to learn more throughout art 1.
