Experience 1: In High School physics we were required to make our own hover-boards. We had to consistently manipulate objects and formulas to make the boards work. The active characteristic was required and used well for learning needs.

Experience 2: In one of my college math education courses (from my previous major), we were required as a class to make a large scale project. We picked to make a life sized trebuchet as a class. Active manipulation/ observation was required when discovering what did/didn't make the trebuchet work. Overall the active characteristic was required, but some students were more active than others during the project completion.

Experience 1: I spent the entire last semester observing an elementary class and teaching lessons. I spent most of the time taking mental notes on the teachers procedures. I then used those mental notes on what I learned from her to teach my lessons, this was helpful overall.

Experience 2: Last semester I went on a field trip to the Pink Palace with a group of future teachers. During this trip I learned of the many resources in which are offered for teachers. I took mental notes and have since used several of those resources to teach lessons, this was overall a helpful use of constructive learning.

Experience 1: In a course last semester I worked with a group to complete a unit plan. We split up different components of the plan and worked together to learn how to effectively plan a unit.

Experience 2: In a previous physics study session we divided what each of us knew best and taught the material from the book. We used each other knowledge to learn the information and better prepare for the test.

Experience 1:Recently learned how to complete the components of a full lesson plan. This is considered an authentic attribute because it will be used ever-day in my life as a a teacher. I learned how to plan a lesson, in which I recently taught to an elementary class.

Experience 2: In order to teach a lesson on watercycle I recently used the active attribute to construct my own water cycle. I had to learn how to make a small scale water cycle in order to solve the problem of showing my students how the water cycle worked on a real scale.

Experience 1: In this course, I have had to learn the different types of learning attributes. I was required to be intentional when reading the article and to make mental notes. I have completed my goal of learning more information to complete this assignment in particular.

Experience 2: In most, if not all, of my college math courses I was required to be intentional with my learning. I had to spend a large amount of time learning new information on my own and applying that information. I felt as though this was a poor use of this attribute and was more like memorization.
