During this week, our group members are introducing ourselves and tell about our personality to the others so our bonding are getting closer. My naqib is Bro Izaan who organize the taaruf session among us and he encouraged us to seeking a knowledge with the right intention and manners, because knowledge without manners is like fire without firewood, said Shaykh Abu Zakaria. I feel very grateful to be able to meet new friends in this usrah 149 :)

In the second week, Bro Izaan was gave a sharing about the Hadith of Jibrail. He explained about the importance of Islam, Iman and Ihsan which are also known as syariah, fiqh and akhlaq.From this learning I was able to appreciate and deepen the importance of our religion in these three aspects. Therefore, it is very important for all Muslims to delve into the Hadith of Jibrail.

This week it means a lot to me personally because I got the chance to share with my dear friends and our naqib about the ways of maintaining adab with our beloved parents. I am still remember that I was explaining about the power of dhuá from a child to their parents. So, importance to us send a prayer to our beloved parents every single minutes of life because they gave everything to us since we were born. Other than that, my presentation members also gave their commitment to work as a team to do this task and I feel enjoy working with them :)

Allah's Messenger replied, "To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan." Then he further asked, "What is Ihsan (perfection)?" Allah's Messenger replied, "To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you."

As stated in Surah Ar-Rum verse 41, "there has been seen corruption on land and sea due to the deeds of human hands, so that Allah may make them feel some of (the consequences of) their deeds, so that they may return (to the right path)." 22/10 is a sad date as it is the last usrah held for this semester. Lots of memories with usrah members that I will never forget. Also not to be forgotten is our naqib Brother Izaan who always gives support and encouragement for us to go further. Thanks for all the guidance mates !

On the last week, we have the presentation from the last group which is Group 5. Their topics is about "Be Kind To Your Neighbourhood". Too many ibrah (lesson) that I get from this group because before this I didn't know that Islam strongly emphasizes the rights of neighbors but alhamdulillah after they gave an explanation I realized the importance of neighbors and I will practice it insya Allah !

Suggestion To Improve This Usrah

Assalamualaikum w.b.t, my name is Muhammad Farith Bin Mohamad Razali with matric no: 212502. I was born in Kuantan, Pahang on 11th September 2003. So basically, my dream since I was kid that I want to continue my studies in IIUM in Arabic Course and all blessing to Allah s.w.t because my dream come true after I got 8 A's in SPM. My hobby is playing futsal and that's why I can't wait to get on campus to play with you guys hehe. So I am here to share with you guys some knowledge that I gain from this Islamic Usrah sessions. This week, I got a lesson about how important the nature for us as human especially.Without the nature we cannot imagine what our lives would be like. Therefore, we have the rensponsibility to take care of nature because we are the khalifah in this world. As Allah says in surah Al-Baqarah verse 30, "And (remember) as your Lord said to the Angels, "Surely I am making in the earth a successor." They said, "Will You make therein one who will corrupt in it and shed blood (Literally: bloods) while we (are the ones who) extol (with) Your praise and call You Holy? Literally: hallow for you)" He said, "Surely I know whatever you do not know."
