1. Great point made by Summer. You will get more out of being nice to someone than if you are mean.
2. Mia told her horse coach nicely to reorganize her barn and she has seen changes, she thinks if she would have been mean, she wouldn't have seen any changes. I agree with this statement because she was able to be tactful.
3. Brandon said sometimes you have to be direct with people and I totally agree.

Part 2
1. Dylan made a connection with when a student asks to go to the bathroom and the teacher says "I don't know can you?"
2. Brandon G: said he hates when teachers make you seem like you are a little kid. He is bringing in prior experience of a situation.
3. Mia: She knows Mr. Brittain outside of school, so it is easier to talk to them about anything. She is bringing in prior knowledge from a situation that she has had.

Mia had a unique example of how she nicely asked her horse riding coach to change her way of teaching. If she would've rudely commented about it to her coach, her outcome could have been a lot different.
3. Mr. Sanders made a good point about how sometimes "vinegar" is necessary to be used on people. Such as students who won't do work.

Part 2

1. Mia made a good point. She brought in a very common occurrence.
2. Dylan's comment was okay. He tried to comment on a joke teachers make.
3. Branden's comment was insightful. His comment was the exact opposite of what I was thinking, which caused me to think deeper.
